Nurture

Nurturing is the act of providing the foundational needs for yourself and your business --  Nurturing is about nourishment, intimacy, love and it is provided in subtle and gross ways. It is how things are taken care of when they are something that has been created out of nothing, when something has been broken of gotten sick, or when it is someone or something in a very vulnerable state, for whatever reason.

 

Cultivate

Cultivate

Cultivating is taking an existing something and putting the next level structures in place to allow it to start achieving it’s next level potential. Cultivating is taking something in motion and creating the structure to enable it to move faster.  This can take many different forms, but it’s based on the truth that great achievements are only made through lots of planning and hard work.  

Grow

Grow

Growth is the natural outcropping of both nurturing and cultivation. Once the proper environment has been established, and the resulting At this stage the business is running on its own with systems and structures that can handle the increasing load.  At this point you are overseeing the business and working strategically, as opposed to having to be involved in every detail. Your vision is clear, your expectations of your people are clear, the systems are established in your business, and you are working on your business that is always preparing it for the next stage.

 

Be

Be

To be is to be with what is. It is to be mindful, and to notice. It means to always be searching for a clearer picture of what’s going on.  It is also to simply be and enjoywhat’s happening right now, and not be overly focused on the future or be over-burdened by the past.  This can be incredibly difficult, but is a practice that opens the space for Nurture, Cultivate and Grow.
